  3. Make a deposit of at least £1,000 into or across any of the above accounts
  4. You will earn one entry per day for every £1,000 held in an eligible Chip account. Every £1,000 held in the Prize Savings Account earns two entries.

Entries built and locked in daily

This works a little differently to our Prize Savings Account draw which is usually based on your daily average balance.

How this differs from the Prize Savings Account

Every night at midnight, we take a snapshot of your balance across eligible Chip accounts and award entries for that day.

  • The more you hold, the more entries you earn
  • Keep it there, and you’ll earn more again the next day
  • Add more, and your entries increase

You get entries based on "net deposits" which will be calculated as the amount of settled deposits minus the amount of withdrawals that occur within that dayThe net deposits will exclude any interest paid on savings, and any previous growth / losses / dividends with investments seen during the draw period, and will exclude any previous bonuses and/or prizes.

How this differs from the Prize Savings Account

With the Prize Savings Account, entries are based on your daily average balance over the month.

Here, entries are calculated daily – based on your balance at that point in time.

Already a customer? You start ahead

If you already have money in Chip, your existing balance is counted on day one.


That means you’ll start the draw with entries already in place if you have at least £1,000.
