This offer is available to:

  • The person you are referring must be a new customer. A new customer is defined as someone who has never previously held a Chip account.
  • Customers can redeem this offer from 28 July 2026 - 23:59 10 August 2026.

How to redeem

  • Refer a friend to Chip.
  • They must deposit at least £1,000 into any Eligible Chip Accounts (this can be split across multiple Chip savings and/or investment accounts), and then maintain the minimum £1,000 balance for at least 90 consecutive calendar days in any Eligible Chip Account.
  • Eligible Chip Accounts are the Chip Cash ISA, Chip Smart Cash ISA, Chip Instant Access Account, Prize Savings Account, General Investment Account, Stocks and Shares ISA. Please note the Chip Pension is not included.
  • They have 120 calendar days from the date of being referred to meet the referral criteria, including the 90 calendar day holding period of a minimum balance of £1,000, before the referral offer expires.
  • If your Chip balance falls below the minimum balance of £1,000 at any point during the holding period, then your holding period countdown will start again from 0 once you meet the minimum balance again.
  • You will both receive a £50 bonus into your Chip Instant Access Account or Prize Savings Account. 
  • There is no limit on how many people you can successfully refer to Chip. 

Receiving Your Reward

  • If the person you referred meets the eligibility criteria, your £50 bonus will be automatically applied into your Chip Instant Access Account or Prize Savings Account. 
  • You must have an open Chip Instant Account or Prize Savings Account to receive your referral reward. This will be paid into your Chip Instant Account automatically, but if you do not have one open the bonus will be paid into your Prize Savings Account.

Bonus payments from Chip into your Chip Instant Access Account do not count towards your balance when interest is calculated. Any bonus payments into your Prize Savings Account awarded as part of this promotion will not count towards your cash balance for the purpose of calculating entries into the monthly Prize Savings Account prize draw. Bonus payments can take up to 5 working days to reach your linked bank account when you withdraw.
