How To Redeem;

If you are referring someone: 

1. Go into the Chip app, click on ‘Profile’ and then on ‘Promos and Referrals’. 
2. From there, click on ‘Invite a friend to Chip’, and then on ‘Invite friends’ to share your referral link with whoever you want to refer. 
3. There is no limit on how many people you can successfully refer to Chip. All referrals must be completed before the 31st March 2026 for the extra entries to be applied. 
4. To be rewarded with extra entries you must have an open Chip Prize Savings Account, hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 March 2026, and not have opted out of the monthly draws for the Prize Saving Account. 

If you are being referred: 

1. Follow the link you receive to our referral webpage. 
2. Enter your email address and click ‘Download Chip’. 
3. Download the Chip app within 30 calendar days of entering your email address and set up your new account using the same email address. We will apply your referral code for you at this stage. 
4. Deposit at least £10 into the Prize Savings Account within 14 days and before the 31st March 2026 to receive extra entries for the March draw. 
5. Please note, for your extra entries to be applied you must hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 March 2026. Find out more about how average balances work here.

Alternatively, you can:

1. Download Chip and set up your new account. 
2. Enter the referral code given to you by your friend. You have 14 calendar days to enter the code after downloading the app.
3. Deposit at least £10 into the Prize Savings Account within 14 days and before the 31st March 2026 to receive extra entries for the March draw. 
4. Please note, for your extra entries to be applied you must hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 March 2026. Find out more about how average balances work here.
   
   

Please note to be eligible you must be successfully signed up to Chip (minimum app version 4.56.0) as a new customer:

A new customer is defined as someone who has never previously held a Chip account and not already redeemed a new customer promotion.

Once the referral code has been applied to your account by either of the methods above you must:

Deposit at least £10 into the Prize Savings Account. This must be completed within 14 days and before 31st March 2026. How will the promotion be applied?

• ‍ The 100 extra entries will be added to your total entries for the Prize Savings Draw, once the person being referred has met all the above requirements. Please note that you must have an open Prize Savings Account to receive these extra entries, hold an average balance of at least £10 in the Prize Savings Account as of 31 March 2026, and be opted into the draw. • You will be able to see these displayed as “extra entries” in your in-app “Entry Tracker” for the March £500k total prize draw (which updates daily), these are distinct from your usual entries which are generated by your average balance. 

• ‍If you refer more than one person, you will be eligible for extra entry rewards on multiple occasions, depending on how many referrals are successful. You will receive 100 extra entries for each customer successfully referred. For example, if you successfully refer 2 people, you will receive 2 separate 100 extra entries into your Prize Savings Account.

• If you do not have a Prize Savings Account open at the time the referral criteria are met, we will not be able to apply the 100 extra entries to your account. The 100 extra entries will be applied once your Prize Savings Account is open and before 31st March 2026.

General

• ‍Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Bonus Promotion at any time.
• ‍Each referral code generated for a Chip user is unique for that Chip user. When you enter the referral Code, you will be eligible for the Chip promotion currently available as use of the referral code is governed by time of activation rather than the reason the code was shared.
• As a referee, in order for the referral to be applied to your account, you will need to onboard using the same email address you entered on the referral web landing page shared by your referrer and during onboarding. 
• We will redeem your referral code for you if you sign-up to Chip within 30 days of entering your email address on our referrals webpage. If more than 30 days have passed, you must re-enter it prior to downloading Chip or alternatively manually enter your referral code after the sign-up process.
• By participating in our referral program, you acknowledge and agree that we will store your email address prior to sign-up for the purpose of redeeming your referral. If you prefer not to have your email address stored prior to sign-up, please use the alternative method of manually entering the referral code after the sign-up process. 
• In the event that one email address is entered to redeem multiple referrals, we will only redeem the most recent referral linked to that email address. 
• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account (e.g. UK Resident and aged 18+), full requirements can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice.
• If Chip has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of gaming, deception, fraudulent or otherwise unreasonable conduct of any kind, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any referral code or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to apply any promotion. 
• If a referral code is shared online on a website or on social media, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any referral code or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to apply any promotion.
