Eligibility criteria (who you need to be)

You need to:

• Be a Chip customer and have received this offer in your Chip app, and; 
• At the time of receiving the offer, either; 
  
  • have a balance of £0 across both investment accounts (GIA and Stocks & Shares ISA), or;
  • do not have an open investment account with Chip.

How to qualify (what you need to do)

If you don’t already have an open Chip investment account:

• Open a Chip investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA), and;

• claim the offer in your app within the countdown period of 30 days (displayed in app) 

If you do already have an open Chip investment account:

• claim the offer in your app within the countdown period of 30 days (displayed in app)

How and when you’ll be rewarded

• Once you claim this offer, you will immediately enjoy  0% platform fees on your investing balance for 12 months.

• You will be able to track how long you have remaining in your Chip app. 

• Note, fund management fees will still apply, these are charged by the fund manager (e.g. BlackRock or Invesco) and are typically between 0.1% to 0.75% p.a. but vary from fund to fund. 

General terms

• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account, which can be found in Section 4 of our Chip Group Terms of Business. Also see our Privacy Notice for information on how we use your data.

• Chip reserves the right to withdraw this promotion and close it to new users at any time. Note - whilst we may stop advertising the promotion, customers who have already claimed the offer will qualify for the 0% platform fees for 12 months offer.

• If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to award any prize/bonus/reward.

• Chip reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel any promotion in the unlikely event where it becomes necessary to do so, for example if required by law or due to reasons beyond Chip’s reasonable control. Notwithstanding this, where reasonably practicable for us to do so, we will give you notice in advance of any such amendments or cancellations. If we make any such amendments or cancellations without notice, we will inform you after the fact as soon as practicable.
