How To Redeem;

If you are referring someone: 

1. Share the code FRIEND with your friends and family to use when they join Chip  by 23:59 12 February 2026, so you can both be rewarded with a £20 bonus each into your Chip Instant Access Accounts. You will receive your £20 bonus on 19 March 2026 if the person you referred meets the eligibility criteria.
2. To receive your £20 referral reward, you must have an open Chip Instant Access Account.   

If you are being referred: 

1. Download Chip and set up your new account. 
2. Head to the Profile > Promos & Referrals > Enter a code section of the app and enter the promo code FRIEND. 
3. Deposit at least £1,000 into the Chip Instant Access Account by 23:59 12 February 2026, and then maintain that balance for at least 30 consecutive calendar days in the Chip Instant Access Account.
4. Enter the phone number of the referring Chip customer when prompted in-app to process the referral reward.
5. You will receive the £20 bonus into your Chip Instant Access Account after the 30-day holding period is complete.

If you are referring someone to Chip:

To be eligible for a £20 bonus into your Chip Instant Access Account on 19 March 2026, the person you are referring has to have:

• Successfully signed up to Chip (minimum app version 4.56.0) as a new customer -

A new customer is defined as someone who has never previously held a Chip account.

• Met the eligibility criteria outlined above.

How will the promotion be applied?

• ‍The £20 bonus will be added to your Chip Instant Access Account on 19 March 2026, if the person being referred has met all the above requirements. 

• Please note that any bonus payments from Chip into your Chip Instant Access Account do not count towards your balance when interest is calculated, and bonus payments can take up to 5 working days to reach your linked bank account when you withdraw.

• ‍If you refer more than one person, you will be eligible for cashback rewards on multiple occasions, depending on how many referrals are successful. You will receive a £20 bonus for each customer successfully referred. For example, if you successfully refer 2 people, you will receive 2 separate £20 bonus payments into your Chip Instant Access Account.

• If you do not have a Chip Instant Access Account open at the time the referral criteria are met, we will not be able to apply the £20 bonus to your account.

General

• ‍Chip reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Bonus Promotion at any time.
• If your Chip Instant Access Account account balance falls below the minimum balance at any point during the holding period, then your holding period countdown will start again from 0 once you meet the minimum balance again.
• We will redeem your referral code for you if you sign-up to Chip within 30 days of entering your email address on our referrals webpage. If more than 30 days have passed, you must re-enter it prior to downloading Chip or alternatively manually enter your referral code after the sign-up process.
• In the event that a new Chip customer enters multiple referral rewards, we will only redeem the most recent referral linked to that email address. 
• Any Chip promotion is also subject to the eligibility requirements of a Chip account (e.g. UK Tax Resident and aged 18+), full requirements can be found in Section 4 of our Terms of Use and our Privacy Notice.
• If Chip has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of gaming, deception, fraudulent or otherwise unreasonable conduct of any kind, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any referral code or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to apply any promotion.
