Last night we took home the Best Personal Finance App title at the British Bank Awards.

This is a serious award to win, and proves to the world that Chip can more than contend with the legacy banks and build an app that works for our generation.  

We’ve won prestigious awards from Finder and 11:FS over the last 12 months, but the British Bank Awards are essentially the Oscars of our industry, and winning one is a real mark of excellence.

This award comes at an exciting time for us, following the launch of our much-awaited Cash ISA.

This has come hot on the heels of our new rate-boosting referrals, not to mention the countless experience improvements made across the year.  

We also just relaunched our investment platform bringing lower fees and more choice, wrapped up with the great user experience you can expect from the UK's Best Personal Finance App.

A few highlights from our journey

Every year at Chip has seemed better than our last, but the last year in particular has been incredible, with Chip growing, maturing, and expanding what we can offer you.  

Over 2023 we welcomed hundreds of thousands of new Chip members, and together you deposited billions into our highly competitive saving and investment accounts.

But, as you’ll know, our mission is to build wealth for our generation, and the reason we all get out of bed everyday to improve your wealth app, is to help you all achieve the things that really matter to you.

But there were also a few especially memorable moments with our community that really tell this story, such as our interview with Frank, who used Chip to build a retirement nest egg.

And, whilst we love calling all our £10k Grand Prize winners, this call with Luke was a particularly emotional one.

But we’re not slowing down. We’re building Chip for you. So, over 2024, we’ll keep enhancing Chip, adding better products, and making it ever more effortless to build, grow and manage your wealth.
