Eligibility criteria

You need to either:

• have never opened an investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA) with Chip, OR;

As well as:

• be an active Chip customer with a balance of more than £0.01 in your Chip Cash ISA.

How to qualify

If you don’t already have an open Chip investment account;

• Open a Chip investment account (either a GIA or a Stocks & Shares ISA), and;

• Deposit at least £5,000 into your Chip investment account(s) (this can be spread across both your GIA and Stocks & Shares ISA if you choose);

• Go into the Chip app, click on ‘Profile’ and then on ‘Promos and Referrals’;

• Enter the promo code: INVEST5K

• Between 20 November and 23:59 5 December 2024.

If you do already have an open Chip investment account;

• Deposit at least £5,000 into your Chip investment account(s) (this can be spread across both your GIA and Stocks & Shares ISA if you choose);

• Go into the Chip app, click on ‘Profile’ and then on ‘Promos and Referrals’;

• Enter the promo code: INVEST5K

• Between 20 November and 23:59 5 December 2024.

How and when you’ll be rewarded

• If you meet the eligibility criteria and perform the qualifying actions outlined above;

• We will boost your Cash ISA rate by 0.28% AER for 365 days.

• This will take your Cash ISA rate to 4.86% AER (variable tracker), at the time of writing - bear in mind all Chip rates track the Bank of England.

• Your boosted rate on your Chip Cash ISA will begin after you successfully deposit in your Chip investment account (note - it can take a few days for investment deposits to land).

• Your boosted rate will last for 365 days. After 365 days, your Cash ISA rate will revert to the underlying AER (currently 4.58% AER variable tracker).

• If Chip has grounds to suspect any user, or associated third party of abusing the promotion in any capacity, Chip reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity and/or refuse to pay any bonus.
